Job summary

Baystate Health in Westfield, MA, is seeking a Dishwasher-Sanitation Aide to join Baystate Noble Hospital. This part-time role supports a fast-paced kitchen, performing tray assembly, cleaning, and food safety tasks to ensure proper sanitation and meal service for patients.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, maintaining logs, following HACCP guidelines, and assisting with light food prep as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSet preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe, sanitary food safety and equipment techniques.
• Able to perform all five main dish-room tasks: Tray assembly, cart delivery/retrieval, tray removal, loading and unloading.
• Accurately assembles patient meal trays in compliance with diet orders and allergies.
• Maintains temperature, QC and QA logs per HACCP, JCAHO and DPH directives.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and floors; follows chemical safety and QA ratios.
• Perform other duties in a fast-paced kitchen environment as needed.
