Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking staff for ware-washing and sanitation duties on the tray line and dish room. You will ensure proper temperatures, restock stations, and operate the dish machine as part of daily patient meal service.

Under supervision, you’ll follow policies, keep work areas clean, and assist with equipment movement and safety procedures. This role supports quality patient nutrition services in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Experience in food service or sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and store patient meal trays and disposables.
• Operate and monitor the dish machine and pot wash areas.
• Restock and set up workstations, maintain sanitation standards.
• Assist in maintaining temperature logs and cleaning duties.
