Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will identify nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support patient quality of life. Typically scheduled around 24 hours per week at Holy Redeemer Hospital Meadowbrook Campus.

You will work with the health care team to educate, follow standards, and contribute to quality improvement, while meeting state licensure and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, using the portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement programs.

Education
