Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook healthcare team at Holy Redeemer Hospital. You'll assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and support residents to improve quality of life, typically working about 24 hours per week on-site in Meadowbrook, PA.

You will follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, educate patients and staff, and collaborate with dining services to enhance nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) is required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
