Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Meadowbrook, PA at Holy Redeemer Hospital Meadowbrook Campus. Typically scheduled 24 hours per week to assess patients’ nutritional needs and implement interventions aligned with goals.

You will educate staff and residents, adhere to practice standards, collaborate across departments, and contribute to quality improvement in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
