Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Diet Aide - Per Diem to rotate shifts from 6:00am-2:30pm and 10:30am-7:00pm, including weekends and holidays. You will assemble patient meal trays, deliver meals, stock supplies, and maintain a clean unit while providing excellent service to patients and staff.

You will use the electronic ordering system, participate in safety trainings, and support dietary operations with a team-focused attitude in a hospital environment.

Competenze

• Communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accurate meal trays.
• Provide courteous, timely service and support to hospital units.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dish area and tray line.

Mansioni

• Assemble patient meal trays and deliver cartons to patient units.
• Stock food items and assist in tray set-up at bedside.
• Take patient meal orders using electronic system and discard soiled trays.
• Maintain HACCP logs and ensure a clean work space throughout shifts.
