Job summary

Ecumen Hospice seeks a Part-Time Massage Therapist to provide compassionate massage services in the St. Cloud area under the Clinical Director. The role focuses on comfort, symptom relief, and quality of life for hospice patients, with bi-weekly 48-hour totals and Tuesday coverage.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, manual techniques, and education to the clinical team, while maintaining records and adhering to safety policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of clinical massage therapy experience.
• Successful completion of a massage therapy certification course.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for appropriate medical indication for service and perform assessments.
• Direct and assist patients through massage therapy interventions to alleviate symptoms and improve comfort.
• Perform gentle techniques to promote relaxation and address pain or mobility issues.
• Utilize interventions such as lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, reflexology, or energy work if applicable.
• Maintain schedule and clinical records within 24 hours of sessions.
• Provide ongoing education to the clinical team about treatment appropriateness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
