Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially with middle school students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a home-based instructional setting.
• Patience, empathy, and passion for helping students succeed academically.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools.
• Must pass a background check and comply with district policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for each student.
• Conduct one-on-one instructional sessions aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administration.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress.
