Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in the Augusta area is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time role delivering high-quality home health care. You will assess, plan, and implement interventions to maintain and improve patient movement and daily function, with ongoing reexaminations and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health care; mentoring if less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Perform interventions and reexaminations (every 30 days minimum).
• Modify treatments as needed and complete discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
