AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a part-time role in Williamsburg, VA. The position offers an hourly wage and the opportunity to provide skilled interventions under supervision, while documenting visits according to OT guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a state license, ACOTE-accredited OTA training, NBCOT eligibility or certification, and CPR. Experience preferred, with mentoring options available for less than one year of practice.

Formación

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take or completed NBCOT entry-level certification.
• At least 1 year related OTA experience.
• If less than 1 year, regional clinical leaders approval and mentoring.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Documents each visit per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to the supervising OT and care team.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and engagement in daily activities.
• Keeps knowledge of OT trends and care coordination current.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
