Job summary

Visiting Angels Waco is seeking a Part Time Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide companionship, personal care and safety supervision to clients in their homes in the Waco area and surroundings. Shifts can be 1–12 hours, with a minimum of 20 hours/week and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Candidates must have over 1 year of caregiving experience, be 18+, have reliable personal transportation, and be able to travel to multiple client locations.

Qualifications

• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• MUST be able to work weekends.
• Be over 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check.
• Professional references.
• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record/proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.).
• Medication reminders.
• Monitoring/safety supervision.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Laundry, errands and shopping.
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above.
• Supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency.
• Transportation to and from appointments.

Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, a Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
