Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. seeks empathetic Home Health Aides to assist in Edina, MN. This part-time role covers morning, midday, and evening shifts, with flexible scheduling and paid travel time.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and help clients maintain independence in their homes. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation to appointments. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required; TB test cleared.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring by nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in home health or similar settings.
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared Chest X-ray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with daily activities: meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Communicate with the care coordination team to update the plan of care.

Role Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.

• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
