Job summary

Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is hiring Part Time Home Care Aides to serve clients across the Upper Connecticut River Valley area, including Hanover NH. The role offers flexible daytime hours, competitive wages, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care.

You will help with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship while following client care plans and reporting health changes.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive care.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Support mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
