Job summary

Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is hiring a Part Time Home Care Aide to support clients in the Lebanon area and surrounding towns. You will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship to enrich clients’ daily lives.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. Training in First Aid is provided if needed, with flexible daytime shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity, exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Support mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
