Job summary

Mass General Brigham North End Waterfront Health is seeking a part-time Home Care Aide to support elders in Boston's North End and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship in patients' homes, with flexible schedules Monday through Friday.

Onsite visits to North End/South End towns may vary by week. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in patient care practices and basic health care services.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and assisting with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Do weekly grocery shopping and errand running.
• Clean, cook, and do laundry as part of in-home care.
• Advise households on housekeeping tasks and safety.
• Assist with nutrition, hygiene, bathing, grooming and mobility as needed.
