Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a compassionate home care aide to support clients with developmental disabilities and senior care in Issaquah, WA. You will follow a client Plan of Care, assist with daily living activities, and provide safe, dignified care in the client’s home or agreed community settings.

The role requires 18+ years of age, English communication skills, independence, physical capability, and adherence to professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of caring for an individual who is ill, infirm, disabled or vulnerable.
• Understanding of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Care for children or adults with disabilities or seniors requiring non-medical care.
• Implement client Plan of Care.
• Assist with daily living activities (feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility).
• Assist family with housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and transportation.
• Provide protective supervision and ensure client safety within living situations.
• Perform tasks within the client’s living situation or approved community locations when applicable.
• Report hours and duties accurately on time sheets.
• Maintain awareness of SAILS Washington policy and procedures.
