Job summary

Redwood-Family-Care-Network in Renton, WA is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides for part-time, non-medical support to clients with developmental disabilities or seniors. Responsibilities include following each client’s Plan of Care, assisting with daily living activities, transportation, meal planning, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

Must be over 18 years of age.
Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
Must be able to work independently.
Must be physically and mentally capable of caring for a vulnerable individual.
Understanding of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Care for a child or adult with disabilities or seniors requiring non-medical care.
Implement the client’s Plan of Care.
Assist with daily living activities (feeding, dressing, toileting, transferring, positioning).
Assist with housekeeping, shopping, meal planning, and transportation as needed.
Provide protective supervision and ensure safety.
Perform CFC work within the client’s living situation or approved location.
Provide respite care within or outside the living situation as directed.
Report accurate hours and duties on the agency timesheet; adhere to SAILS Washington policy.
