Job summary

Redwood-Family-Care-Network in Seattle, WA is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide non-medical services to clients with developmental disabilities or seniors needing care and companionship.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, assisting with daily living activities, transportation, housekeeping, meal planning and reporting hours. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with travel as needed within King County.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of caring for an ill, infirm, disabled or vulnerable individual and maintain safety.
• Understanding of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Care for clients with developmental disabilities or seniors needing non-medical support.
• Implement assigned client Plan of Care.
• Assist with daily living activities (feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, transferring, positioning).
• Provide transportation, housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation.
• Maintain safety and protective supervision as needed.
• Accurately report hours worked and duties performed on time sheets.
