Job summary

Atlanta Technical College seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Health Information Management Technology (HIMT) on a part-time basis, located at the Main campus south of Downtown Atlanta. You will create and deliver lessons, assess progress, and support student success.

Candidates must have a master’s degree or higher in a health-related field, RHIT/RHIA certification, and 3+ years of instructional experience. Teaching at other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in education or health related field from an accredited college or university.
• RHIT and/or RHIA certifications and three or more years of instructional experience in healthcare or academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for credited courses aligned with curriculum.
• Provide instruction on health information systems, medical coding, data analytics, and healthcare compliance.
• Maintain accurate attendance and grades records.
