The Oxley House in Elkins, WV is seeking a passionate cook to join our vibrant kitchen. You will set up stations, follow recipes, and ensure high-standard plating to deliver a gold-standard dining experience for guests.

We're looking for candidates with prior high-volume kitchen experience and a love for flavor. This part-time role offers $13.00 per hour and a dynamic team environment in a hospitality-focused hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in high-volume restaurant is required.
• Passion for cooking and creating exceptional experiences for guests.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; analyze information and develop solutions.
• Able to adapt to changes; manage competing demands; work well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Set up cook station and prepare all food items in a timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by standards.
• Restock, clean, maintain and restock cook station items as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Keep track of and report all food waste.
• Review procedures to improve service, performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and health and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
