Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support a high school in Ypsilanti, MI, three days per week. The role involves evaluating students, creating IEP goals, and delivering service in cross-categorical resource and general education settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Michigan SLP license or eligibility for Michigan licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to high school students across cross-categorical resource and general education settings.
• Complete evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide progress monitoring.
• Provide individualized and small-group speech-language therapy based on student needs.
• Collaborate with general education and special education teachers, school psychologists, families, and other members of the student support team.
• Support students with a variety of communication needs, including students who may utilize AAC.
• Utilize the district's AAC consultant as a resource when needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a collaborative, student-centered environment.
• Support inclusive opportunities for students with disabilities throughout the school day.
