Job summary

Study Smart seeks dedicated tutors to support 9th-10th grade students in Math and ELA. The role involves delivering tutoring in group and individual settings, using provided class materials, and collaborating with the Education team to tailor learning strategies. Schedule runs Monday through Thursday, with morning sessions aligned to CST times.

Background checks are required, reflecting our commitment to safety. Eligible candidates hold a 4-year degree and bring teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience strongly desired.
• Schedules hours: Monday through Thursday.
• Math from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM CST.
• ELA from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM CST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
