Job summary

Study Smart is seeking tutors to support Math and Reading for 9th–10th graders in Texarkana, AR. You’ll provide tutoring to small and large groups and access class materials to tailor lessons.

Shifts run Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–12:00 PM CST. A completed 4-year degree is required and a background check is required. Benefits include an excellent pay rate, onboarding support, 401(k), and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Tutoring or teaching experience is strongly desired.
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM–12:00 PM CST.
• Must complete and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in Math and Reading to students in 9th–10th grade.
• Support small and large groups and adapt to new materials.
• Maintain regular communication with Study Smart staff.
• Collaborate with the Education team to implement learning strategies.

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math and Reading
• Grade level: 9th -10th
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desire
• Schedules hours: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Salary And Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour
