Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Sonographer to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team. You will perform high-risk OB ultrasound exams, record images, and communicate results to physicians, while maintaining equipment and environment for safe patient care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Sonography program, ARDMS/Nuchal translucency imaging certifications, CPR, and 1–3 years of experience or equivalent. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ARDMS certification in the relevant specialty(s) with active status.
• Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging certifications valid.

Responsibilities

• Produces and records high quality sonographic images.
• Interprets patient history for high-risk OB patients.
• Positions patients for sonographic examination.
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography exams.
• Communicates results to the diagnosing physician.
• Performs basic fetal cardiac views and extended views.
• Evaluates fetal anatomy in the second trimester.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area.
