Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for our MSO - Caring for Women practice. You will perform OB/GYN-focused ultrasound exams, including fetal anomaly evaluation and complex twin/triplet scans, with focus on patient care and accuracy.

The role requires proficiency with multiple ultrasound machines, reporting, and collaboration with staff and physicians. A minimum of 1 year OB/GYN experience and RDMS certification are preferred; BDLS and state certifications

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Ultrasound, required
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• A minimum of one-year specialty (OBGYN) Ultrasound Tech / Technician experience required
• A RDMS, required
• RDMS-OBGYN – highly preferred
• BLS required
• Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations

Responsibilities

• Applies fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies.
• Identifies fetal anomalies in CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, genitourinary, and more.
• Operates GE, Accuson, Medison, and ATL machines with proficiency.
• Maintains ultrasound logging records including medical history information.
• Prepares patients for Level I & II ultrasounds and other procedures.
• Maintains professional relationships with staff and obstetric offices.
