Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Within first year, must be qualified to conduct vision and/or hearing screenings by the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing and vision screening for preschool and school-aged children.
• Complete and submit reports with screening results.
• Explain results to students and parents and provide referral information as needed.
• Schedule screenings with school personnel.
• Attend annual MDHHS training.
• Comply with state child protection laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
