Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Emergency Readiness in Concord, MA. You will provide unarmed security, perform routine patrols in a healthcare location, and help maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, patient privacy considerations, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
