Job summary

ABL Health Care and ABL Hospice are seeking a Marketing Representative to develop and maintain relationships with referral sources in the Burlingame area. The role focuses on generating qualified referrals for home health and hospice services by engaging physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently while collaborating with leadership, clinical, intake, and operations teams to expand

Qualifications

• Experience in Home Health, Hospice, Healthcare Sales, Medical Sales, Business Development, or Healthcare Marketing preferred.
• Existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, AL communities, case managers, discharge planners or other referral sources are highly preferred.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and networking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based position.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare referral sources.
• Generate qualified referrals within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new referral sources while growing existing accounts.
• Conduct regular in-person visits, meetings, and follow-ups with referral partners.
• Educate referral sources about ABL’s Home Health and Hospice programs and referral process.
• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for referral partners.
• Collaborate with Intake, Clinical, and Operations to ensure smooth referrals.
• Maintain communication with referral sources regarding services.
• Develop territory plans to increase referral volume and presence.
• Track referral activity and account development.
• Attend networking and healthcare events as needed.
• Monitor market activity for new growth opportunities.
• Represent ABL Health Care and ABL Hospice professionally and ethically.
