Job summary

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Part-Time Hospitality Associate to provide linen and textile products and related services throughout the facility. You will adhere to safety policies, manage textiles, deliver and stock items, and enter data into a linen management system to support patient and non-patient areas.

The role requires a High School diploma and 1+ year in healthcare or housekeeping, plus basic computer/tablet skills.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field Preferred
• Computer, Electronic Tablets and basic technology skills Required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and linen/textile policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of linen/textiles.
• Manage pars/quantities of linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles
• Deliver linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles to patient care/non-patient care areas
• Stock linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles in patient care/non-patient care areas
• Pickup/removal/transport of linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles
• Enter linen data into and generates reports from computerized linen management system
• Manage service recovery as needed
• Manage linen/textiles in order to meet/exceed facility linen expense and loss goals.
• Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with leadership on recommendations for patient experience improvement
