Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Linen Room Worker to support hospital operations in the Environmental Services team. You will handle linen inventory, delivery, and pickup across units, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of clean linen to meet patient and staff needs.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and operate hand-held inventory devices. Prior housekeeping or linen services experience in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or linen services within a healthcare setting.

Aufgaben

• Perform physical inventory of linen using hand-held device.
• Record data (item counts) in hand-held device for entry into inventory system.
• Neatly place clean linen on carts/shelves.
• Interact with customers to ensure linen is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
• Respond to units requesting additional linen when supply is depleted.
• Deliver and pickup clean exchange and bulk linen carts daily to each unit.
• Count remaining linen in exchange carts being returned to the clean linen room.
• Complete deliveries/pick-ups according to established timetables/8-hour shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the clean linen storeroom.
• Coordinate with staff and drivers for proper cart staging and delivery.
