Job summary

Champion City Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a PART-TIME Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors. The role runs 3-11pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and pays $12/hour.

You will manage the front desk, greet guests, answer calls, schedule and check-in patients, maintain records, and support teammates with confidential information while delivering friendly service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care by answering and directing phone calls, greeting patients and families, and responding to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and updating patient records
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient information, appointment schedules, and incident reports
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, reports, and statistical data
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families, when needed
