Located at 129 Patricia M Genova Drive, Newington, CT, this role focuses on coordinating and monitoring patient transportation requests with timely, accurate dispatch. Qualifications

• Prior healthcare and call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with one-on-one attention.
• Understands patient transport concepts and infection control practices.
• Determines dispatcher logic; transports patients when necessary.
• Directs transport activity and monitors task completion.
• Ensures timely handling of requests per standards and appointments.
• Serves as liaison between Patient Transportation and other departments.
• Assigns and distributes pagers; monitors sign-in/out procedures.
• Develops positive service relationships with patients and staff; ensures accurate dispatch.
• Resolves problems related to patient, visitor, staff or employee complaints; recommends solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
