Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a part-time Patient Transporter at Uconn Health Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT. The role requires safe, timely transport of patients and medical equipment, with shifts on weekdays 9:00 am–3:00 pm and weekends 11:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Part-time schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, medical equipment and items safely and timely.
• Secure patients and equipment during transit, including IVs and tubing where applicable.
• Use wheelchairs or other rolling stock per hospital procedures.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and dispatch for smooth handoffs.
• Maintain equipment and report any repairs or issues promptly.
