• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and medical equipment safely and on time.
• Secure IVs, drainage tubes, and patient; use wheelchairs and rolling stock as required.
• Demonstrate competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy; maintain modesty and appropriate conversation.
• Alert nursing staff to signs of distress or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain and report equipment needing repairs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient rights policies.
