Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking qualified Part‑Time Faculty in Health Studies to teach courses across four campuses. This pool-style posting means applications will be reviewed as needs arise for CPR, First Aid, Health and Fitness, and Stress Management.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Health or a related field, or have a Master’s with substantial graduate coursework and relevant content area knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Health Education, Health Science, Community Health, or Public Health.
• Alternative: Master’s in any subject with 30 quarter hours in at least 3 content areas and at least one upper-division/public health course.

Responsibilities

• Prior teaching experience at the college level or teaching adults is preferred.
• Be prepared to teach courses such as CPR, First Aid, Health and Fitness, and Stress Management.

Education
