Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Desire and ability to work with three- and four-year-olds and understand their development.
• Must pass background checks and TB screening.
• Reliable transportation may be required for travel to multiple Pre-K sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-K instructional teams with routines and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Support classroom teachers in implementing approved curriculum and assessments.
• Monitor student arrival/departure and maintain records as applicable.
• Maintain safety, supervision ratios, and a positive learning environment.

Education

High school diploma

CDA credential

Two/four year degree

ParaPro assessment or 60 college hours

Missouri substitute teacher certification
