Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience with children in a learning environment.
• Ability to work with infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 3 years).
• Background check and TB screening completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in planning and implementing lesson plans in the classroom.
• Support children’s social, emotional and physical development per Head Start principles.
• Participate in cleaning, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Attend training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional environment for children and families.
• Report incidents per district guidelines and protect confidentiality.
