Essential Functions:

• Assisted Self Check Out

Customer Interaction & Checkout:

• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously.
• Proactively greet and engage with customers, recommending products and services.
• Move throughout the checkout area to ensure accurate transactions, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products.
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service per Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and selecting merchandise; load and carry items.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions.
• Communicate product information, warranties, and features.
• Train and coach associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register.
• Support front-end team with supervision, coaching, and support.
• Handle security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise.
• Answer calls and manage register coverage as needed.

In-stock & Store Maintenance:

• Prepare register area at shifts' start/end, verify register functionality, and stock supplies.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages.
• Manage online orders, returns, and verify pricing for price match.
• Record store use items.

Safety & Store Cleanliness:

• Monitor cash drawers and obtain safety bags.
• Assist with security and shoplifting prevention, report risks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization following safety standards.
• Operate store equipment as required.

Additional Duties:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, supervisory roles, and shoplifting detection.
