Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will be the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing product information and complaint resolution. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition. Knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and seminars is essential, along with excellent communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier. All other related duties as assigned are part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.
