Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers.
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers.
• Move throughout the checkout area to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers with locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions.
• Show appreciation to customers.
• Communicate product and warranty information.
• Train and coach team members.
• Process sales, returns, and refunds using a cash register.
• Support front-end team with supervision and support.
• Handle security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Open additional registers as needed.
• Assist with line vesting for quicker checkout.

In-stock

• Prepare register area at shifts' start and end.
• Inspect returned merchandise.
• Manage customer orders and verify receipts.
• Handle online orders and returns.
• Verify prices and record store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash in drawers and security alarms.
• Detect shoplifting and security risks, report promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure safety compliance and operate store equipment.

General

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and warranty explanation.
• Experience as a head cashier and in Lowe's store departments.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in shoplifting detection.
