Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers
• Move throughout the checkout area to ensure transaction accuracy
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer questions and guide them through projects
• Express sincere appreciation to customers
• Inform customers about stock, warranties, and product features
• Train and coach team members in departmental duties
• Use cash registers for sales, returns, and refunds
• Handle monetary transactions accurately
• Support Front End team with supervision and coaching
• Remove security tags and bag merchandise
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open additional registers as needed
• Assist with line vesting to improve checkout efficiency

In-stock

• Prepare register area at shift start/end
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Manage online orders and returned merchandise
• Verify pricing and product information for price matching
• Maintain store use lists

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash in drawers and security alarms
• Detect shoplifting and security risks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Ensure safety compliance and operate store equipment

General

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of computer experience
• Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
• Experience as a head cashier and in Lowe's store departments
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in shoplifting detection
