Essential Functions:

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Demonstrates ability to monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers
• Approaches and interacts with customers to recommend products and services
• Greets, assists, and engages with customers at multiple registers
• Moves throughout the checkout area performing standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products
• Thanks customers and invites them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provides SMART customer service following Lowe's policies and procedures
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, and selecting merchandise
• Responds promptly to questions and guides customers through projects
• Shows sincere appreciation to customers
• Communicates product information, warranties, and benefits
• Trains and coaches associates in departmental duties and sales
• Processes sales, returns, and refunds via cash register
• Provides proper change and supports front-end team
• Handles security tags, verifies products, bags merchandise
• Answers calls and manages register coverage

In-stock:

• Prepares register area at shifts' start and end
• Inspects returned merchandise
• Enters customer orders and verifies receipts
• Manages online orders and returns
• Compares prices for match verification
• Records store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitors cash drawers and security alarms
• Detects shoplifting and communicates risks
• Maintains cleanliness and organization
• Ensures safety compliance and operates store equipment as needed

General:

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, supervisory roles, and shoplifting detection
