Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking a part-time After School Children’s Cooking Instructor to bring engaging, hands-on cooking activities to kids in the Dallas area. You will lead hour-long classes, teach basic kitchen skills, and explore global ingredients with 3–18 year-old students.

Responsibilities include planning recipes, reviewing curricula, shopping for ingredients, and maintaining a safe, fun learning environment. Prior experience with kids is a plus; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon-Fri, 2-5 pm)
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4-12 weeks)
• Ability to manage groups of 8-14 children
• Fingerprint background check required before hire
• Access to reliable transportation
• No professional cooking experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required by districts/schools

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long healthy cooking enrichment classes on-site at various locations
• Create and teach creative recipes and introduce new ingredients
• Review weekly curricula and prepare for instruction
• Shop for fresh ingredients and demonstrate basic kitchen skills
• Encourage healthy food habits and hands-on participation
