Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is hiring a Guest Services Representative for the Sonnentag Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. You will greet guests, provide information, check tickets, and resolve issues with a focus on world-class service.

In this on-site role, you will assist at events, enforce policies, and coordinate with staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for patrons and athletes alike.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional guests, clients and employees.
• Ability and willingness to enforce policies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during large and/or high profile events.
• Ability to maintain good business relations with all employees, guests, clients and service providers.
• Ability to uphold a neat, clean and professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check tickets, provide information, and give directions.
• Address guest needs and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Retrieve lost and found property as needed.
• Enforce venue policies and participate in trainings.
• Act as part of the emergency evacuation team and guide guests.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate via email, group messaging and phone.
• Follow procedures and guidelines.
