Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Roanoke is seeking a detail-oriented, outgoing Guest Services Representative to join our team part-time. You’ll welcome guests, check them in and out, and help make their stay exceptional while contributing to a friendly, fast-paced front desk.

You’ll process payments, update reservations, coordinate with other departments, and maintain a welcoming lobby. Weekend shifts from 2pm to 10pm, with 1-2 weekdays, and competitive wages plus benefits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Provide outstanding service while checking guests in and out.
• Be a guest advocate by responding to requests and concerns with a sense of urgency and empathy.
• Process payments for guests and make necessary changes/updates to their accounts.
• Enter and update reservation information in the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to communicate information about room availability and status.
• Maintain the front desk ensuring the area is clean, welcoming, and organized.
• Close and balance room accounts.
• Run, print, and distribute various reports.
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Weekends required with 1-2 weekdays, shift: 2pm-10pm

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.
