Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Kansas City Crossroads is seeking a detailed, outgoing guest services pro for a part-time 2pm-10pm shift. You will check guests in, address requests with empathy, and manage payments and reservations in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a PEACH-driven team environment. Expect a supportive team, competitive compensation, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service while checking guests in and out.
• Be a guest advocate by responding to requests and concerns with a sense of urgency and empathy.
• Process payments for guests and make necessary changes/updates to their accounts.
• Enter and update reservation information in the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to communicate information about room availability and status.
• Maintain the front desk ensuring the area is clean, welcoming, and organized.
• Close and balance room accounts.
• Run, print, and distribute various reports.
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

• Work 2pm-10pm shift.
