Job description

Position Summary:

Guest Services Associate works and manages POS stations to sell recreational and medical products.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. With training and assistance, advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis;
2. Correctly assist with weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products, as required;
3. Educate customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products;
4. Check customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age;
5. Process customers' payments using the dispensary / retail's POS system;
6. Keep abreast of new additions to our cannabis product line as well as the latest industry trends through training and research;
7. Ensure the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times;
8. Take inventory of cannabis products and ensure that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
9. Will have periodical dispensary cleaning duties included but not limited to break rooms, bathrooms, sweeping etc.
10. May participate in closing activities for the inventory vault area;
11. Ability to review and follow company SOPs which are based on the CCC Regulations for the State of Massachusetts;
12. Engaging and supporting GMF’s marketing initiatives.

Minimum Experience:

1. 1+ years of customer facing experience in the Retail or Hospitality Industries.
2. Comfortable working with computers, preferably retail POS systems.
3. Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system in the human body.

Preferred Experience:

1. Ability to speak more than one language (preferably Spanish).
2. Foundational understanding of sales and upselling of products.

Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
