Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Hersheypark and affiliated venues. You will monitor entrances, screen guests, assist guests, and maintain a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, upbeat and able to interact with guests.
• Must be at least 18 years old on the date of applying.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift.
• Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all vehicles and team members entering and exiting our venues to ensure authorization.
• Conduct guest and team member entry screening to prevent prohibited items from entering the venue.
• Be familiar with an assigned section of a venue to assist guests properly and efficiently.
• Monitor guest behavior for compliance with event and venue policies.
• Assist with post-event clean-up.
• Provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team members.
• Practice safe work habits including PPE use, lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.
