Job summary

The Mitten Brewing Company in Grand Rapids is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing candidates to join our support team on a part‑time basis. You will greet guests, manage seating, answer questions about the menu and takeout orders using our digital hosting and POS systems while delivering friendly, reliable service.

Ideal candidates are 18+, dependable, trustworthy, and team‑oriented with a hospitality mindset. The role involves light lifting and standing, with minimum wage starting at $15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Treat every guest with respect.
• Treat every co‑worker with respect.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner when they enter the building.
• Utilize the digital hosting system to seat guests and manage the wait list.
• Learn food and drink menus.
• Take phone calls to answer questions and takeout orders.
• Utilize POS tablets for takeout orders.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders as necessary.
• Garnish and run food to tables.
• Stock the expo side of the line in the kitchen.
• Clean or fulfill other assigned tasks during downtime.
• Complete all side‑work tasks every shift.
• Expedite orders from the kitchen.
• Occasionally close the dish station.
