Job summary

The Mitten Brewing Company in Grand Rapids is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and hard-working staff to join our support team. Part-time available, with permanent employment possible for the right person. Must have weekend and Monday availability.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating with our digital hosting system, taking takeout orders, and coordinating with the kitchen. You will use POS tablets and learn menus, while delivering friendly service and a strong team spirit.

• Willing to learn menus and seating system and support kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Treat every guest with respect.

• Greet guests as they enter the building.
• Utilize the digital hosting system to seat guests and manage wait lists.
• Learn food and drink menus.
• Take phone orders and answer questions about takeout.
• Use POS tablets for takeout orders.
• Communicate with kitchen staff about orders.
• Garnish and run food to tables.
• Stock expo line in kitchen.
• Complete all side-work tasks each shift.
• Expedite orders from kitchen when needed.
• Occasionally close the dish station.
